Young people 18-24 in Barnet,
Islington, Camden and Haringey in receipt of universal credit can now get
additional employability support in their local job centre from Local Village
Network. To access, all
young people need to do is register on the Local Village Network app and tag to
their local job centre. From here they can view job boards, local employment
opportunities, Kickstart roles and recruitment
agencies that specialise in different areas. They can also access Local Village
Network Power of an Hour support. 100’s of professional volunteers have signed
up to offer the young claimants CV writing and interview tip as well as
offering crucial ‘insider information’ about how to get jobs in various industries.
