Camden Carers Centre (CCC) is recruiting a Administrative Assistant S&W Apprentice

Camden Carers Centre is offering an exciting opportunity to a 16 + Camden resident, Camden care leavers or former Camden Secondary School student to become a Communications, Support & Wellbeing and Development Learning & Activities  Administrative Assistant Apprentice. Whilst working you will also study towards and complete an advanced qualification in Business Administration.

This role will consist of a variety of responsibilities including working across all teams: Communications, Support & Wellbeing and Development Learning & Activities. You will be providing general administration support to each team with the relevant training provided.

Duties

General admin:
  • Maintain professional boundaries
  • Observe and comply with our GDPR and confidentiality policies in all aspects of work
  • Use Charity log on a daily basis to record carer’s notes
  • Take team minutes
Support & Wellbeing:
  • Record contact information with permission from any new carer’s wanting to register with our service
  • Book Carers Conversations & Grant project appointments
  • Complete necessary eligibility checks for Carers Conversation appointments
  • Complete Carers Conversations and Grant project purchases and logging all transactions
  • Monitor referral inbox on a daily basis
  • Take minutes for S&W meetings
  • Opportunity to work towards face to face support with carers
  • Outreach services; make necessary eligibility checks, arrange appointments and send out confirmation letters/emails
  • Contact unregistered carers to complete registration process on Charity Log; take accurate notes regarding caring role and explain the services Camden Carers provides to the carer
  • Assist with organizing vouchers, hamper deliveries, allocation and collection of goods
  • Contact carers to complete wellbeing survey and record results onto a spreadsheet
  • Send welcome letters/emails and other relevant information to newly registered carers using templates (includes typing, printing and post)
Monitoring:
  • Assist each team with quarterly reports; this includes exporting KPI (Key performance indicators) reports from database and presenting data into visual infographics for quarterly reports.
  • Monthly updates of Support & Wellbeing spreadsheets/data entry using Charity Log

Additional information

  • Be aged 16+.
  • Be a Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student
  • NOT already have a level 3 qualification or higher in Business Administration or Customer Service
  • Have a positive attitude towards teamwork and being able to work well with others
