Camden Carers Centre (CCC) is recruiting a Communication Administrative Assistant Apprentice

Camden Carers Centre is offering an exciting opportunity to a 16 + Camden resident, Camden care leavers or former Camden Secondary School student to become a Communications Administrative Assistant Apprentice. Whilst working you will also study towards and complete an advanced qualification in Business Administration.

This role will consist of a variety of responsibilities including working across all teams: Communications, Support & Wellbeing and Development Learning & Activities. You will be providing general administration support to each team with the relevant training provided.

Duties

General admin:
  • Maintain professional boundaries
  • Observe and comply with our GDPR and confidentiality policies in all aspects of work
  • Answer incoming phone calls and forward to the appropriate person
  • Meet & escort visitors to the designated meeting room
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post
  • Use the Charity Log (Organisational database) on a daily basis to record carer’s notes
  • Monitor the info inbox on a daily basis: forward emails to the appropriate person; filter
  • all emails to the appropriate sub-folder
  • Post and monitor all social media platforms
  • Create Excel reports and pivot tables/charts
  • Update and upload virtual activity calendar on website and keep website pages up to date
  • Take team minutes
Security and data:
  • Individual to comply with GDPR and confidentiality in all aspects of their work
  • Assist with data cleansing
  • Attend relevant GDPR training and update team and CEO
  • Assist to ensuring database is recording relevant and accurate information
  • Assist with exporting reports for staff/teams/CEO
Breaks & Activities:
  • Conduct and complete risk assessment for all face to face events
  • Promote all events and activities on all social media platforms
  • Send out booking reminders via text and email
  • Create Zoom links for each activity and update Charity log and Zoom calendar
  • Design relevant posts and leaflets for activities/services
  • Monitor number of carers booked and attending each activity and events
  • Book carer’s on to activities and events
  • Export email list from database to send out large virtual mail out/reminders
  • Take minutes for all Breaks and Activities meetings
  • Assist with counselling appointment reminders
  • Assist with completing new volunteers registration
  • Assist with logging volunteer hours
Monitoring:
  • Assist each team with quarterly reports; this includes exporting KPI (Key performance indicators) reports from database and presenting data into visual infographics for quarterly reports.

    Additional information

    To apply for this role, you must:
    • Be aged 16+.
    • Be a Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student
    • NOT already have a level 3 qualification or higher in Business Administration or Customer Service
    • Have a positive attitude towards teamwork and being able to work well with others
